Malawi, China boost relations


BEIJING, Malawi's President Bingu Wa Mutharika has met with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun in the capital, Lilongwe. Zhai visited the African nation as an envoy to Chinese President Hu Jintao.

At their meeting, the Malawian president expressed satisfaction with developing relations with China, and emphasized his government's willingness to adhere to the one China policy.
