Harambee Stars returns from Malawi

Kenya's national soccer team Harambee Stars arrives in the country Monday after fighting to a barren draw with hosts Malawi in an international friendly match played Sunday in Blantyre to celebrate the country's Independence day.

The match is recognized by world football governing body FIFA and the results will have a direct bearing on the next world rankings done on monthly basis.

Currently Kenya is ranked 25th in Africa and in position 92 globally while Malawi is placed 29th in Africa and 107 in the world.

Both teams were using the match as build up for their remaining 2010 World Cup cum Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which resume in September.

Kenya will host Namibia then play Guinea away while Malawi has an away game against Djibouti then a home fixture against Democratic Republic of Congo.
