Fitch affirms and withdraws Malawi's ratings

Aug 25 - Fitch Ratings has today affirmed and simultaneously withdrawn Malawi's sovereign ratings.

Fitch affirmed Malawi's Long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'B-', respectively. Both ratings have Stable Outlooks. The agency also affirmed Malawi's Country Ceiling at 'B-' and its Short-term foreign currency IDR at 'B'. All ratings are withdrawn and Fitch will no longer provide rating or analytical coverage of this issuer.
